The problem, plainly

Draft owners know the drill: measure twice, order once, and just hope.

More drafts are under saddle than ever, but the tack hasn’t kept up. Most brick-and-mortar stores don’t have enough draft owners nearby to give shelf space to a small market, especially on margins that are already thin. For owners, that means settling for “close enough,” special-ordering, or waiting weeks for the one size your horse actually needs. Often, once a store sells out, it’s often out for the season, because the manufacturer is out too.

I built Essentially, Drafts because I got tired of measuring and hoping. Draft and DraftX tack is all we do.
