Which build looks closest to yours?
Lean / Fine-Boned
Visible topline, narrower chest and barrel. Often draft crosses.
Average Build
Solid, well-proportioned — the shape most purebred drafts settle into.
Heavy / Broad
Deep barrel, wide chest, thick neck and jowl. Full-size Belgians, Shires.
Your Starting Point

This is a starting point, not a guarantee. Every horse carries weight differently, and "average for the breed" is doing a lot of work in that sentence. Measure the actual horse before you buy — girth and length for blankets. Returns happen, but a few minutes with a tape measure beats waiting on a swap.
